The Symphonic Wind Ensemble is the top concert performing ensemble at Waipahu High School.  All of the band students in the Symphonic Band do a seating test in late fall to determine which band they will be performing in.  This ensemble performs more challenging repertoire.  All students, including freshmen, are eligible to place into this band.
